The sheer luxury, style and tranquillity of this hotel are as legendary as the man who founded it. Completed in 1958 by Giuseppe Cipriani, founder of Harry’s Bar, the Cipriani is the ideal honeymoon retreat. The extraordinary setting, in the privacy of exquisitely manicured gardens and vineyards, the refined service and gastronomy, the atmosphere of unhurried luxury are just a few elements contributing to the Cipriani’s international fame. From its sumptuous bedrooms and suites, to the magnificent Olympic size swimming pool, to the red-clay tennis court and formal gardens, the Cipriani exudes and air of romanticism and wellbeing. The hotel premises are just a short spectacular boat ride from  the hustle and bustle of St. Mark’s Square, yet just far enough to provide the right level of tranquillity and intimacy. 

 
The cuisine is remarkably unpretentious and honest, yet luxurious and constructed with passion and flair. Our signature dishes include fegato di vitello alla Veneziana con crostoni di polenta bianca – Venetian style sliced calf’s liver sautéed with onions and accompanied by grilled white polenta croûtons – orecchiette padellate con castraure, acciughe e ricotta affumicata – small sized fresh pasta with baby artichokes grown on our premises – and the famous taglierini verdi al prosciutto gratinati – fresh thin green noodles with ham, au gratin. Many of the herbs used in the preparation and seasoning of our dishes come from the Cipriani’s vegetable garden.
The same concept applies to the extensive cellar and wine assortment which includes our own Casanova Salso Wine, produced with grapes grown in the gardens of the Cipriani. Regional and Italian wines dominate the comprehensive wine-list, which also includes a wide variety of rare European and International vintages.

 

 

 

 

The comprehensive offer of services reserved to the guests of this hotel is completed by the new Casanova Spa, named after the legendary lover who once held clandestine trysts in its fragrant and colourful gardens. The Spa is equipped with fabulous treatment rooms opening on to private terraces with fountains. Here guests can enjoy head-to-toe pampering, relax, work out, and reconnect in an intimate setting.
